Andrea Mayer, professional jazz singer and voice teacher, was born in Herford, Germany and developed early in childhood a passion for singing. Teachers such as Maria Joao and Deborah Brown had an important influence on her vocal development, inspiring her especially in improvisation and the flexible use of her naturally strong and colourful voice.
Andrea Mayer’s years of performance experience, her ability to sing in many vocal styles and her willingness to experiment with all the facets of her vocal instrument have given her flexible, warm jazzy voice its own very special timbre through all three octaves of its range. |
